Have a ball with the kids!
Play Footsie-Get a big plastic ball and have everyone lie down on the floor with their feet up. Hold the ball with your feet, and try to throw and catch it with JUST your feet!
Beach Ball Art
If you have a preschooler this is a good keep them busy activity. Give them a beach ball and washable markers. Let them decorate it and then just wash off the marker when they are finished doodling. They can start all over again.
Play Kickerama
This is a twist on the classic game of kickball. After the pitcher rolls the ball he/she has to yell either "Hop", "Skip" or "Jump". The kicker then has to follow his/her direction as he/she makes their way to first base. Before the pitcher can run after the ball he/she has to quack like a duck 3 times.
Inside Beach ball Volley Ball
We have played this one with our kids and it's a lot of fun and causes a lot of giggling!
Pair up. Each pair holds a bath towel between them. Try to toss and catch the beach ball from towel to towel. Count how many times you can toss it before it hits the floor! If you want to play this outdoors you could use a different sort of ball. Inside play with a beach ball prevents things like lamps from getting broken during the fun.
